Apple dropped their latest version of their iOS16.4 yesterday and it had some pretty cool updates. Along with it came the Beta of the next version iOS16.5. Beta 1 was dropped to developers yesterday and it looks like this version is going to be a very minor update.
This was expected because iOS17 is around the corner and Apple would want to save their big guns for the WWDC23. iOS16.5 Beta 1 has few minor updates like screen recording via Siri and a few minor updates to Apple News in countries available. Though Apple might add a few security/privacy updates in the next few Betas, looks like this would be the extent of this version of iOS!
